Overview: Origami is the art of folding square paper into various geometric shapes, animals, and other fun shapes. Origami is easy to do, can be done anywhere, and only requires paper to complete. Complex folding patterns have been invented over time and are available to follow to make basically anything. More advanced techniques leverage other materials such as foil-backed paper or paint to allow more intricate and wonderful results.
